2006

Files in Career Development must be completed early in semester (complete by March 15 to be safe!)

Interview with Premedical Advisory Committee (students with completed files will be advised of the dates, usually in late semester)

Take MCAT review course, if desired (Contact Kaplan, Princeton Review, or ExamKrackers directly, if interested.  Locations and cost vary.)

April, 2006

Take MCAT; list Purchase College as undergraduate institution to receive results. (Results usually received in mid-June; computer administered test may now be available at other times)

June, 2006

Earliest date to submit materials to AMCAS; AMCAS will send    student information to AMCAS schools listed on application.  If   applying to any non-AMCAS schools, contact schools directly for applications.

August, 2006

Take MCAT if not taken in April, or if decision is made to re-take the test.  (results not received until October.)

June, 2006-
March, 2007

Cost for mailings: Undergraduate Purchase student: 5 free mailings; $3 per additional mailing; Post-bac students: $5 per mailing (Checks made out to Purchase College Foundation.)
