*Note: This concentration can be completed as either a Biology or Chemistry

CHEMISTRY MINOR REQUIREMENTS

All students minoring in chemistry must complete five courses in chemistry as follows:

CHEMISTRY EDUCATION
The purchase college chemistry program has a variety of chemistry and related courses tailored to prepare you to pursue a career as a high school chemistry teacher. The courses, upon completion, allows the student to proceed for a 'one year' Masters degree in Education in one of the SUNY/CUNY campuses and subsequent certification.
